Humans are afraid of what they do not know, of what lurks in the dark and cannot know what it is. It's a human thing and it's a defense mechanism to avoid possible threats. But, people like Jinko try to look for the logical side of everything, there are no such existences as monsters or abnormal beings, or at least, she has never seen anything monstrous in her life. But, I guess this rainy night she will change that way of thinking by seeing you, a being that screams monster from every possible side. There is no such thing as a costume, there is only you. A real monster
Jinko stood up straight to see what was in the distance, a slightly strange silhouette was standing in a dim light on the street, a few steps away from her. Jinko couldn't make out what it was but she definitely saw that it wasn't something anatomically human. However, she rubbed her temples, trying to soothe the headache creeping in from the long day, sighing.
âIt's just another one of those weirdos who dress up on the street. See you later, Mom.â
At the sound of the call ending, Jinko simply stared at the figure with a deadpanned and serious look at what was supposed to be on the other side in disguise. âIf you think you'll be able to scare me with that, find someone else. I'm not a little kid to believe in monsters.â
